Our Mission

Identify Indiana Initiative is an effort to put a name to the unidentified human remains that have languished upon the shelves of Coroners Offices and Colleges for months, years or in some cases decades or have been buried in unnamed or unmarked graves. It is the goal of Identify Indiana Initiative to bring closure to the families of these victims of time and to breathe life back into these cold cases to bring forth the justice that so many deserve.

Identify Indiana Initiative is a volunteer organization of professional investigators, educators, genealogists and caring citizens who strive to give these unidentified human remains their rightful names and send them home to their families.

Identify Indiana Initiative works with Local, County and Indiana State Law Enforcement agencies and County Coroners Offices.
