We are happy to share that another cold case has been identified! This one took a lot of hard work and cooperation among agencies.
Officials with the Johnson County Coroner’s Office recently announced that human remains found in 1993 near I-65 in Greenwood, on what is now the Otte Golf Course, have been identified as Michael Benjamin Davis, a South Carolina resident who was in his mid-20s at the time of his death. This identification was possible through partnerships with the Greenwood Police Department, the University of Indianapolis, and the Othram Forensic DNA Testing Laboratory.
